I have a 4 month old. Actually, she is 4 months and 12 days to be exact. I am completely and utterly in love with this little girl and have barely put her down since bringing her home at 12 days old. I also know that she is the last little one coming from this mama so I am drinking in every sweet minute I possibly can before she if off and running like the other 4. But it has been brought to my attention (a few times in fact) that I have not posted a single photo of her on my blog. I am a very bad blogger. I won’t make any excuses (other than I’m a full time mommy to 5 kids with one permanently attached to me, 3 kids to do school work with, 3 kids in basketball, 1 kid taking guitar lessons, 3 kids to run to wed night kids program and all the other 8592 activities surrounding school and church in addition to *attempting* to keep our home in order and feeding our wild animals with a full time working husband who is also going back to school). I mean…really….I have no excuse for not blogging this before now.
Let’s get on with the announcement already!
Sweet Anniah Jayde arrived on September 28th approximately 5 weeks before her due date. She tipped the scales at 3 lbs 13 oz and was 15 3/4 in. long. We were very thankful to make it that far in the pregnancy since our last little one had come 2 months early and was a pound smaller! Anniah spent 12 days in the NICU so she could gain some weight and learn how to feed- she did wonderfully and we were so thankful for no complications! Our other kids had the opportunity to visit her and just fell in love with their baby sister. Even our son who had been hoping for a little brother decided Anniah was too cute and didn’t want to trade her in for a boy!
Since bringing her home, it has been beautiful chaos! We are so blessed with 5 healthy, happy children and know our family is complete. I also made the decision to scale back the amount of photo sessions I am offering at this time. So…I will be offering sessions but they will be very limited. If you are wanting to book a session, I highly recommend contacting me a few months in advance to ensure a session spot.
Now on with the photos!
I have to laugh when I see this first image that my husband captured- DURING my c-section I was concerned about getting the settings right on my camera so my husband could use it to photograph our baby when she arrived. Not only that, I was trying to do everything left handed (which I am not!) because my right arm was strapped to the gurney.

So thankful for my good friend, Alyssa Hodel for taking the photos below!

The day-to-day routine.

Some lovin’ from mommy & daddy

Big sisters and brother get to visit! The older girls snuck their masks off for a few photos- Shhh!

And here is our little squishable 4 month old

For You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. -Psalm 139:13-15
