Recognize these two?  If you have looked at my blog….ever….I bet you have seen them!  I can’t get over how much these two beautiful sisters look alike and so enjoy getting to photograph each milestone for them!  Thanks for being patient D & J – I have about a million favs from this session and can’t wait to share the rest with you.

Complete

February 9, 2012

I have a 4 month old. Actually, she is 4 months and 12 days to be exact. I am completely and utterly in love with this little girl and have barely put her down since bringing her home at 12 days old. I also know that she is the last little one coming from this mama so I am drinking in every sweet minute I possibly can before she if off and running like the other 4. But it has been brought to my attention (a few times in fact) that I have not posted a single photo of her on my blog. I am a very bad blogger. I won’t make any excuses (other than I’m a full time mommy to 5 kids with one permanently attached to me, 3 kids to do school work with, 3 kids in basketball, 1 kid taking guitar lessons, 3 kids to run to wed night kids program and all the other 8592 activities surrounding school and church in addition to *attempting* to keep our home in order and feeding our wild animals with a full time working husband who is also going back to school). I mean…really….I have no excuse for not blogging this before now.

Let’s get on with the announcement already!

Sweet Anniah Jayde arrived on September 28th approximately 5 weeks before her due date. She tipped the scales at 3 lbs 13 oz and was 15 3/4 in. long. We were very thankful to make it that far in the pregnancy since our last little one had come 2 months early and was a pound smaller! Anniah spent 12 days in the NICU so she could gain some weight and learn how to feed- she did wonderfully and we were so thankful for no complications! Our other kids had the opportunity to visit her and just fell in love with their baby sister. Even our son who had been hoping for a little brother decided Anniah was too cute and didn’t want to trade her in for a boy! :)

Since bringing her home, it has been beautiful chaos! We are so blessed with 5 healthy, happy children and know our family is complete. I also made the decision to scale back the amount of photo sessions I am offering at this time. So…I will be offering sessions but they will be very limited. If you are wanting to book a session, I highly recommend contacting me a few months in advance to ensure a session spot.

Now on with the photos!

I have to laugh when I see this first image that my husband captured- DURING my c-section I was concerned about getting the settings right on my camera so my husband could use it to photograph our baby when she arrived.  Not only that, I was trying to do everything left handed (which I am not!) because my right arm was strapped to the gurney.

For You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.  -Psalm 139:13-15

D: Oh my goodness....beautiful baby girl, beautiful family and you are a very talented photographer!!

Trisha Abaca: So cute! It is fun to see how she has gotten so big over the past four months!

Katie Rutledge: I'm seriously in love with your post! And that first image is hilarious, no mistake that you ARE a photographer :)

The blog has been very quiet but my house has not!  We welcomed another beautiful baby girl into our family at the end of September & I promise to do a separate post introducing her very soon!  :)

For now I want to show off these two adorable sisters.  This shoot was supposed to take place before our baby arrived but had to wait until after since our little one had plans of her own!  I was so excited to finally do this shoot.  These two girls had the sweetest personalities & I’m pretty excited for their mom to see this sneak peek.  K- it was so nice to meet you; can’t wait for you to see the rest of the images which will be ready very soon!

At 5 lbs, Cora was such a little peanut and oh so sleepy!  I have to admit I am a sucker for the itty bitty ones since all 3 of my girls were so little when they were born.  Cora was absolutely perfect for her session and gave some adorable smiles!  A huge congrats on your new daughter, F&A and big brother D – what a beautiful addition to your family!

p.s. I usually save the storyboards for the gallery but couldn’t resist posting this one to the blog.  :)

D: Love the pictures!!

This has seriously got to be one of my favorite mini sessions to date — I couldn’t wait to post the sneak peek!  Chloe just might be one of my most photographed clients and I have so enjoyed seeing her grow.  Yesterday I had the privilege of not only capturing her two year session but also taking the first photos of her brand new baby sister!  That post coming soon…

I can’t believe we are half way through June already!  I have so much to share!

In case you haven’t heard our news yet, we are expecting baby #5!!!  We are all very excited about this new addition and blessing to our family!  Since our last little one couldn’t wait to meet us and came 2 months early, we are taking extra precaution this pregnancy.  We want this little bambino to stay put as long as possible so I will be wrapping up all photo sessions at the end of July (only 6 weeks away!) and will take only a few select newborn sessions for August and September.

I have had some amazing sessions lately- from newborns to mom & me mini’s…check out the blog to see what we’ve been up to!

If you are at all interested in a family session or family mini (like my families from the previous 2 years) PLEASE contact me so I can get some dates scheduled.  These will be offered in July and no later.  Also, if you are thinking of reserving a newborn session, let me know as soon as possible since session slots for these will be very limited.

Lastly, don’t forget about the referral program- any new client you refer who books a session will receive a $50 credit towards their order and you will receive a $50 credit towards a future order– But it gets better!  For the month of July, anyone who refers a new client will receive a $100 credit towards a future order!!!  There is no limit to referral credits, so if you refer 3 new clients who book a session, you will receive a $300 credit towards a future order!!

And lastly, I had to include this adorable image of Braden because it just makes me smile.  Have a wonderful week!!
